UBC Botanical Garden and Canopy Walkway

In the University of British Columbia's botanical gardens, the
Canopy Walkway (built in 2008) stretches 308m and climbs up
to 17m above the forest floor. Hourly guided tours explain about
the walkway, the forest and its trees. Interlaced steel cables hold
the 8 platforms to the trees without damaging them, and will expand to
allow to natural tree growth.
